Mr.4 is working on rhyming words in pre-k and is really blowing us all away with the speed he’s able to pick up sounding out new words. And after my plastic easter egg word family game was a total bust, I remembered the foam eggs and knew exactly how to use them!

I took a look at the pre-k Dolch sight words and decided to started with the twelve 3-letter words. I pulled 3 of each color foam egg and cut them into 3 different patterns. Then used a sharpie to write out each of the twelve words onto the eggs.
